Instructor

Katherine Neff Stevens was born and raised in Stowe, Vermont where she began her dance training at the age of 3 with Helena Sullivan at the Stowe Dance Academy. Katherine studied in Stowe for 15 years training in the styles of ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap. After high school, she continued her dance training at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she received her B.F.A. in Modern Dance Performance and a minor in Photography. She has attended several prestigious summer intensives including the Alvin Ailey Pre-Professional Program in New York City, the Point Park Summer Intensive in Pittsburgh, as well as Movement Research's MELT in New York City. After college, Katherine moved to Boulder, Colorado to study at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute where she received her Rolfing certification. She has also received an advanced certification in SourcePoint Therapy. Katherine began her teaching career nearly two decades ago and is dedicated to providing students an inclusive and supportive environment in which to explore the performing arts.
