Class descriptions, hair and attire requirements:
| Jazz (Levels I & II) |
Dancers will learn the basic and fundamental steps, turns and leaps to introduce them to this classic jazz genre.
Through floor exercises and choreography, dancers will develop the confidence and skill to become a well rounded dancer
and performer.
Attire: Female: Leotard of any color, black jazz pants or tights and black leather jazz shoes. Long hair secured in a ponytail. Male: T-Shirt, black jazz pants or sweat pants, and black leather jazz shoes. | Jazz (Levels III & IV) |
Dancers will expand on their knowledge and skill of jazz dance through more challenging choreography. Dancers will learn new steps and technique to varying styles of music and rhythm changes. An eclectic style of dance, from street jazz to swing, will challenge dancers throughout this class.

| Lyrical Jazz | Lyrical Jazz is a technique that fuses together the technical aspects of ballet and jazz with expressive movement that helps dancers to expand their performance skills and their ability to tell stories through dance.
Attire: Female: Leotard of any color, black tights or leggings and foot undies. Long hair secured in a ponytail. Male: T-Shirt, black jazz pants or sweat pants, and Nude Canvas Half Sole Shoes. | Contemporary Jazz | Contemporary styles are informed by the dance experience of the choreographer. The goal of the student is to study and master the movement style of their instructor. Kate's class is a blend of jazz and Modern techniques including Release and Improvisational styles of Modern Dance.
Attire: Female: Any formfitting, free-moving clothing. Foot undies optional. Long hair secured in a ponytail. | Jazz/Hip-Hop | This class is ideal for any young dancer who is looking to dance and groove! Jazz/Hip-Hop students learn basic hip-hop dance steps as well as introductory jazz technique.

| Hip-Hop | Hip Hop is a fun and upbeat dance style. In this class dancers will learn basic Hip Hop moves and tie them into choreography to help them work on their rhythm and performance styles.
Attire:Leotard of any color, black jazz pants or tights and black leather jazz shoes. Long hair secured in a ponytail. Footwear: Clean, no mark sneakers. No outdoor shoes please. |
